Photobook design, local-first

A simple app for arranging photos into a photobook.

Drag your photos onto real two-page spreads. Crop in place, frame the heroes, slice one image across a whole spread. When you're happy, export a PDF and send it to your printer. That's the whole product.

Real spread canvas

Two-page spreads with snappable grid templates. Drag photos into frames, swap them around, fill the page or float a single image.

Crop, dice, reframe

Pan and zoom inside any frame. Slice one image across the whole spread. Apply a colored border to every photo with one click.

Press-ready export

Export a PDF at 96, 150, or 300 DPI with bleed and crop marks. Hand it to your favorite print lab — no proprietary uploader required.

Why local-first

Your photos stay on your machine

The editor runs in your browser or as a real desktop app. Originals never leave your disk. No cloud upload required for any part of the design workflow.

No account to use it

Open the app, start arranging. The first time you want to preview a photobook with someone, you can mint a link — but that's optional, not the product.

It just makes a PDF

One file, your file, ready for any printer. Order from Mixbook, Bay Photo, the local print shop, or just keep it for yourself.

How it works

  1. 1

    Drop photos in

Import from your library. They sit in a tray on the left, ready to drag into any frame on the spread.

  2. 2

    Arrange spreads

Pick a template per spread. Drag photos into frames. Crop, zoom, add a hero image floating over a background, drop in a title.

  3. 3

    Export & print

Hit Export. You get a PDF with crop marks and bleed at the DPI you set. Send it to your printer of choice.
